Salary Scale 5, £31,176 to £33,204

Terms and Conditions Full time, Fixed term (until 31 Aug 2024)

Woodberry Down Children’s Centre is looking to recruit a Nursery Education Officers to join our dedicated nursery team to improve the outcomes for children in Hackney. Your role will be to help us achieve a safe, healthy and stimulating environment where activities enable children to grow and develop in line with good practice standards. As an excellent communicator, you will need to be enthusiastic and committed to rising standards.

These are ideal positions for someone looking to be an integral part of a team providing a service to diverse families in the community. Significant professional experience of working within a culturally diverse educational childcare environment is essential. You must have good interpersonal and relationship building skills and possess good assessment skills.The centre also has Forest School designation and there are opportunities for you to access training to enable you to lead and deliver Forest School sessions.

An NVQ3 qualification in childcare or equivalent is essential for this role. You will be required to work flexible hours as the centre operates a shift system.

NB: This post requires an Enhanced DBS check.
