Job description: At AXA Health we’re looking for Occupational Health Advisors to join our Occupational Health Team in the Warwick / Coventry area. You’ll work onsite to undertake assessments as well as working from home on a diverse range of cases; no two days are the same. As such, you must be flexible and comfortable with a degree of local travel as part of your working week. We work across a diverse range of clients including financial services, automotive, aviation, food and drinks, retail, logistics and manufacturing.

At AXA we work smart, this role is non-office based meaning you’ll spend part of your week onsite at client sites and the rest working from home. You’ll receive a comprehensive induction to set you up for success in your new role. 2 weeks initial training in our Glasgow office. Travel and accommodation costs will be covered by AXA Health, including a daily meal allowance.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Play a vital role in the health and wellbeing of the many employees of our clients and use your specialist clinical skills to provide expert assessments and the right solutions to match the client’s needs.
  • Undertake case management in person and over the phone producing high standard and quality management advice reports (maximum of 6 cases per day).
  • Onsite Health Surveillance including HAVS, lung function testing, audiometry, skin, fitness for work assessments and working with our clients to maintain and develop the health and wellbeing of the workforce.
  • Maintain records to ensure data entered into client records is accurate, legible, concise and coherent.
  • You’ll be provided with support, training and development to thrive in your role.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified or Registered Nurse, ideally with a diploma or degree in Occupational Health.
  • Experience in a commercial occupational health setting, particularly with exposure to case management and health surveillance.
  • Some travel is required in this role, so you need to be able to drive and have your own vehicle. Mileage costs covered and paid by AXA Health.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
