NonStop Consulting is currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Occupational Therapist to join the team at a prominent educational and residential institution in Surrey.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to implement individualized therapeutic plans tailored to the unique needs of each child or young person. This approach allows you to witness and celebrate the direct impact of your interventions, fostering a sense of accomplishment and making a genuine difference in the lives of those you support.
Work within a highly experienced Multidisciplinary Clinical Services Team, collaborating with professionals such as Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Creative/Talking Therapists and engage in a dynamic and supportive environment, where diverse expertise converges to create holistic solutions. This collaboration enhances your professional growth and ensures comprehensive care for the individuals you serve.
Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced specialist knowledge across various work practices, grounded in extensive theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
- Assess motor, perceptual, and sensory integration skills, generating reports to support individuals and inform reviews.
- Deliver Occupational Therapy using the WG Three Waves Model of Intervention, providing individualized and group interventions.
- Provide line management and clinical supervision to Therapies Assistants, supporting Newly Qualified Occupational Therapists.
- Work closely with children, young people, and staff to ensure personalized delivery plans.
- Participate in service and practice development, identifying and addressing training needs.
- Prepare high-quality reports, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and data protection requirements.
- Engage in the Group’s Staff Development Programme, attending regular clinical and line management supervision sessions.

Requirements:
- Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with HCPC.
- Experience in assessing and addressing the needs of children and young people with diverse challenges.
