Provide Structural Design Expertise
Provide input to structural and layout studies
Define structural design requirements for technical scopes
Development of deliverables and documentation required for use in offshore work packs and in the supply chain
Support the development of and/or develop requisitions for the procurement of structural related material and equipment
Undertake design checking of structural deliverables
Provide support to the Lead Structural Engineer and the project delivery team
Provide structural design technical expertise to the project
Resolve structural related design issues by applying accepted principles, codes and standards
Adhere to procedures to assure technical integrity of structural designs
Provide support for interdisciplinary considerations through attendance at required design reviews and undertaking inter discipline checking
Maintain own knowledge and understanding to meet competence requirements of Principal structural Designer
Provide feedback on lessons learnt to aide in continuous improvement
Utilize software tools in design development and checking (eg PDMS, Navisworks , E3D, Hexagon )
Assess progress and associated reports and advise of any slippages, correct inefficiency and take any resulting agreed actions
