The European Marketing Operations Manager is a key part of the European marketing team and will work closely with the European Head of Marketing to build the operations for the European Marketing function, establishing it as a centre of excellence, and to lead in streamlining activities and bringing excellence into the team. The role will include running the European marketing and communications calendars and collaborating on the comms strategy. The role will also include acting as a connector between markets, industries and capabilities (identifying synergies and collaboration opportunities) as well as being responsible for new hires and our talent retention projects.
This is a 12-month maternity leave cover contract role.
Key responsibilities:
Planning, processes and budgets:
- Support European Head of marketing on European planning and budgets
- Develop the communications strategy, working with the European Head of Marketing. This will include (but not be limited to) calls, get-togethers and digital sharing tools
- Support development of material for ELT discussions
- Take ownership of the European marketing campaign pipeline calendar and calls
- Act as connector between markets, industries and capabilities, enriching and nurturing the relationships
- Identify synergies and collaboration opportunities between markets, industries and capabilities
- Take on an advisory role regarding best practice across the marketing mix and look for opportunities to improve processes
- Be a trusted consultant for the European marketing team
People management/Talent retention:
- Management responsibilities of three campaign co-ordinators and agencies/external vendors
- Own, implement and manage the onboarding process for new hires
- Manage and develop our talent retention projects
Internal comms:
- Take ownership and develop the European internal communications calendar to increase connectivity and teaming with support of marketing co-ordinator
About you:
- Minimum 7-10 years proven experience in B2B marketing operations in professional service and/or on the agency side
- Experience in working internationally and experience in working with senior stakeholders
- Fluent in English
- Experience working with email marketing, knowledge of email engagement and measurement
- Experience working with Excel (or similar) to monitor and manage the budget.
- Experience with onboarding programmes: being able to speak to different groups
- Experience in creating engaging and impactful content for internal use such as welcome packs for onboarding and web pages for internal comms training
- Being comfortable with associated software for campaign management, list building, event management and data analysis.

- Ability to manage budgets, monitor spend and forecasting
- Experience with onboarding new starters.
