Do you want to be part of something special?EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOWWe have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Developer Services team as an Operational Business Analyst based in either Coventry, Leicester, or Derby.In this role, you’ll play a part in achieving Severn Trent’s triple carbon pledge that by 2030 we will achieve net zero carbon emissions, that 100% of our energy will come from renewable sources and we will have 100% electric vehicles, availability of vehicles permitting.Under the direction of the Alternative Fuel Fleet Programme Manager, you’ll be working with project and business teams to analyse current practices and understand the demands of future electric vehicle rollouts. You’ll need to make sure business problems are articulated, measured and that the narrative for change is understood and justified.You’ll be facilitating operational workshops to carry out business process mapping and operational model analysis, ensuring that analysis and outputs for the programme identifies functional and non-functional requirements.You’ll also carry out performance, customer, and business analysis to guide and support change activity and offer implementation support (testing, communication, training and implementation).Your key accountabilities in helping us on our electric vehicle journey will be:
- Undertake operational model analysis to guide and support decisions and policy making and document findings and key requirements.
- Presenting findings and key next steps and undertake assurance testing of delivered work. Make sure said work is carried out to required standards and delivered right first time.
- Work collaboratively with the project and business teams to ensure successful change and carry out stakeholder presentations with confidence.
Though you’ll primarily be working within our Fleet team, there may be times when you’ll be asked to support the wider team such as Supply Chain. We are flexible on your base location, whether it be Coventry, Leicester or Derby as you’ll work with the rest of the Developer Services team. There may be some travel to these sites to meet your stakeholders.Sounds exciting right? Does this sound like the role for you? You may have previously worked in operations or the water / utilities industry.You’ll be competent in working practice analysis, gap analysis, training needs analysis, process efficiency, standard operating procedures and supporting project implementation.We’re looking for someone who thrives on data and can move from being hands on to thinking strategically.If you’re passionate about operations, data driven and future focussed, this is the role for you!The right skills and experience are important.
