Job Description
To support delivery and development of a top performing Operational Excellence capability within the Advisory Services group that wins and delivers high value consultancy projects across a broad range of industries integrating continuous improvement thinking across all the work that we deliver.
Job Duties:
As a member of the team, you will:
- Support delivery of value propositions for business change, lean and other process improvement capabilities.
- Improve the way we deliver change.
- Help develop our professional facilitation solutions offering.
- Support the development of thought leadership that sets AECOM apart from its competitors.
- Support in the delivery and development of best practice methods and standards for business change which may include lean and process optimisation to apply throughout the project / programme delivery life cylce
- Maintain a network throughout AECOM to adopt operational excellence and change practices into delivery of their projects and with their clients.
- Maintain client relationships through project delivery and in support of business development.
- Ensure you deliver projects professionally an execute to quality, cost and time.
- Champion a culture of safety
Requirements:
- You will have experience as a change manager with excellent facilitation skills. Awareness of lean, continuous improvement and process improvement is a plus inc. Collaborative Planning.
- You will be able to help clients identifying the need for change, developing a plan to implement the change, and then overseeing the execution of that plan to ensure that the change is successful.
- You will have experience delivering change in complex collaborative environments
- You will have experience in leading the facilitation of interdisciplinary collaborative sessions / workshops with internal and external customers
- You will be willing to work in a consulting capacity and develop stakeholder relationships.
- You will have a in depth understanding of change methodologies. Organisational change and design is a plus.
- You will be able to guide your clients through change in a patient and professional manner
- You will demonstrate initiative and a desire for dealing with complex problems, especially helping teams hold difficult conversations.
- You will be able to listen to clients, understand and relate their requirements for our services.
- You will be flexible and willing to work away from the office to meet our client or business demands.
- Experience in Aviation, Rail, Highways and Water sectors is a plus.
- We envisage that the role will be based in either our Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol or London offices. You will need to be able to regularly travel to other locations, mainly across the UK, but also Europe and further afield as required.
