As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Operations Intern in our Seating business located in Kilkeel, Northern Ireland.
The successful candidate can expect to:
- Develop the skills necessary to provide leadership and direction to a production team.
- Develop the skills necessary to ensure performance delivery against key targets/metrics and quality standards (deliver the Master Production Schedule and related KPI’s).
- Develop the skills necessary to drive a culture of continuous improvement, cost reduction and manage change within a fast paced production environment to maximise efficiency and effectiveness within a team.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to aid effective communication and deliver results.
- Develop the skills necessary to effectively manage a team to increase line performance and develop individuals.
- Ensure that all Health and Safety standards and requirements are met.
- Help support the Operations function of the business.

What you need to succeed?
Essential Criteria:
- Studying towards a degree in Supply Chain, Warehousing & Transport or a Business related discipline.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous relevant work experience in a Manufacturing or Supply Chain / Logistics environment.
- 6 months previous experience working in an administrator role.
