Hours: Mon-Th/Tu-Fri 19.00-05.30 – 40 hours per week

Location: DHL Aviation at East Midlands Airport

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitoring of inbound flights / trucks for dangerous goods ‘DG’ freight.
  • Transferring all data onto the relevant NOTOC’s (Notification to Captain)
  • Dealing with customer queries via phone and email
  • Administration of DG paperwork onto the relevant computer systems.
  • Scanning all DG paperwork to ensure compliance.
  • Confirming accounts are approved to ship DG using Account Approval System.
  • Ensuring all reports are completed in a timely manner.
  • Attending and passing a 2-yearly IATA DGR course
  • Attending and passing a 2-yearly ADR, AVI and IMDG course.
  • Inspecting and intercepting hidden dangerous goods entering the network and reporting accordingly.
  • Ensuring full compliance with Health and Safety, Environmental and other regulatory requirements.
  • Must be willing to under go FLT & PPT training
  • All employees are responsible for the health and safety of themselves and also those affected by their activities.
  • You must conduct yourself in an orderly manner within the workplace, ensuring that correct uniform and PPE is worn.
