Actively participating in various events across the UK, we engage with new customers while supporting our customer base built over the last 20 years.

Job Overview:

We are looking for dynamic Orthotic Sales Assistants who can effectively engage with customers at events, share information about our orthotic products, and assist with the fitting of Orthotics. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a flexible, freelance environment and have a passion for promoting health and well-being.

Responsibilities:

Event Sales:

  • Actively approach event attendees to promote and sell custom orthotic insoles.
  • Provide product information, answer customer inquiries and demonstrate how orthotics may benefit.
  • Conduct on-the-spot sales transactions, record customer details and process payments.
  • Collaborate with the event lead and marketing team to enhance product visibility.

Customer Engagement:

  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Converse with customers to identify potential orthotic needs.
  • Assist customers in understanding the benefits of custom orthotics.
  • Exhibition Set-up & Dismantle:
  • Be part of the team setting up and dismantling the exhibition stand.

Remuneration

  • Commission based sales, allowances for travel costs.

We’re looking to staff events from April with training taking place at other events taking place in February and March.

As many of our events take place outdoors, being comfortable with outdoor settings is highly favourable. The ability to adapt to different weather conditions is essential. Accommodation will be provided during events that require overnight stays. Often due to the remote nature of our events, we often camp onsite to minimise travel time in and out of the event site.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a health or medical products.
  • Basic knowledge of orthotics and or anatomy of the lower limb structure or a willingness to learn about our products and processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Availability to work at events across the UK, with flexibility from February to November. Working over some weekends and bank holidays.
