Job description

A new opportunity has arisen for a Paraplanner for a successful IFA based in Aberdeen.
The client is looking for experienced Paraplanner, or Senior Administrator who is ready to take their first step into a Paraplanner role.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Financial Planners to enable the achievement of targets and meet client expectations
  • Full analysis of client requirements, development of cash flow models and accurate recording of client data
  • Research in preparation of client recommendations
  • Prepare suitability reports and letters
  • Schedule and prepare client reviews, updating cash flow models, performance analysis, production of supporting reports and identifying opportunities and threats
  • Liaise with clients by telephone, email, letter and attend meetings
  • Liaise with other professional Advisers e.g. Solicitors and Accountants

Skills and qualifications:

  • Attained or working towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
  • Experience working in a financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services
  • Excellent administrative, research, report writing
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
