Conrad Consulting have partnered with a global Architecture & Masterplanning practice who have an outstanding opportunity for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their successful regional studio in Birmingham.
They require an innovative Part 2 Architectural Assistant with design flair to work across a variety of the sectors both locally, nationally and internationally.

Due to continued growth, multiple positions are now available for Part 2 Architectural Assistants with at least 2 years of in practice experience to join the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PART 2 ARCHITECTURAL ASSISTANT:
- Providing support to the Project/Senior Architects within the office.
- Assisting in the preparation of design proposals, including drawings, models and technical specifications.
- Conducting site visits and surveys to gather information about existing conditions and potential design constraints.
- Assisting in the production of detailed construction documents, including architectural plans, elevations, sections and details.
- Contributing to sustainability and environmental considerations in the design process.
- Emphasising quality, innovation and excellence in all architectural work.
- Working as part of a design team in the preparation of production information and working drawing packages in both traditional and Design and build projects across multi sectors.
- Working on local, regional, national and international projects.
- Working towards your Part 3 qualification which will be supported by the practice!!
PART 2 ARCHITECTURAL ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS:
- UK (ARB) recognised qualifications at Part 1 & 2 level.
- Architectural experience within multiple sectors such as Education (Schools, FE and HE), Commercial, Residential and Workplace/Offices.
- Passion for design and interest in developments within the Architecture industry.
- Proficiency in Revit is desirable along with AutoCAD
- Adobe Suite proficient i.e. InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- 3D modelling skills. Revit required. Sketchup desirable
- Experience of producing concept designs.
- Able to draw ‘free hand’ sketches and illustrate.
