Job Description

Location: Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford 

Hours: Part-time – Hybrid – 18.25 hours per week (Work pattern will be based on 12.25 hours of office-based working and 6 hours working from home).

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced administrative assistant to join the department.

You will provide assistance and support to the TIDU Executive Coordinator and to the PA to the Unit Director as well as, when required, to the Principal Investigators (PIs) within the Translational Immune Discovery Unit, based at the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, John Radcliffe Hospital.

Duties will be wide-ranging and varied.  You must have a professional outlook, excellent written and verbal communication skills and have good attention to detail.

 

About You

 

You should have substantial experience of managing administrative processes, working independently with minimal supervision.

You are highly organised, be able to pay excellent attention to detail and have the ability to manage a varied workload under pressure and meet deadlines.

You should be educated to GCSE level or equivalent with excellent organisational and time management skills with an ability to identify competing tasks and to prioritise workload.
