About the Role:

We are seeking parents returning to the workforce for our part-time Community Home Helper positions. This role is ideal for those who have nurtured a family and are now ready to extend their caregiving skills to support elderly individuals in their homes, aiding them in maintaining their independence with respect and compassion.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide engaging companionship, drawing on your experience nurturing your own family.
  • Assist with daily tasks like meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands – similar to managing a household.
  • Help with personal care, applying the sensitivity and respect you’ve developed as a parent.
  • Encourage physical activities and exercises, using your experience in family fitness routines.
  • Offer medication reminders and assist with mobility, ensuring client safety.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social events, providing transportation if needed.
