We are looking for:

Responsible for the storage and loading of finished products, control and offloading of incoming goods & raw materials, operation of the logistics hub / gatehouse to receipt / despatch materials and control sundry site access, housekeeping standards in the logistics areas on site and maintaining computerised records of the materials dispatched and delivered in accordance with site procedures and quality standards.

Your roles and responsibilities as a Logistics Operator ensure that the logistics process runs smoothly and efficiently. You will work in SAP and Google Suite IT packages. You will be a member of a supportive friendly team. In summary, some typical tasks include:

  • Receipt of packed raw materials, packaging, engineering and other supplies on to site
  • Receipt of stores items into stores receipt area, take delivery of / issue out Royal Mail site post and sort into main groupings ready for self-collection.
  • Control of vehicles entering and leaving site including during site emergency
  • Operation of site weighbridge and vehicle booking system,
  • Pick, pack, label and load all packed goods for despatch to customers.
  • Dealing with delivery and dispatch paperwork as appropriate
  • Ensure that all storage areas and other related spaces are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Use of Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck as required to meet the demands of the job

Additional information:

  • Location: Oldbury, United Kingdom
  • Part time: 3 days per week, Monday Tuesday Wednesday,OR Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
  • Shift work hours – 4 week shift pattern:
  • Week 1 : 6:00 – 14:20
  • Week 2 : 7.30 – 15:50
  • Week 3 : 6:00 – 14:20
  • Week 4 : 9: 50 – 18:45
