Job description: My fantastic client based in Stonehouse are currently recruiting for a Part Time Payroll Administrator to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.Previous experience using Iris Payroll Professional would be desirable.Responsibilities/Duties;-Provide a confidential administration service for Payroll Clients-Keep up to date with any legislative changes regarding Income Tax, National Insurance and other Payroll related matters.-Process/Import Timesheets received for payment from our clients on a Weekly/Monthly/2 Weekly/4 Weekly basis and reconcile to the Payroll System.-Check and process Maternity/Paternity Leave calculations in accordance with statutory guidelines.-Administer the Clients Workplace Pension Schemes-Dealing with HMRC and other Government Agencies on Employer related queries.-Completing the HMRC FPS & EPS returns each pay run-Produce Nominal Journal for clients accountants-Liase with Accountants and Auditors on Payroll Control queries-Responsible for Tax Year End balancing for each client-Liaise with Site Administrators, Managers and Employees when required.-Answer telephone calls and emails, respond to any Payroll related queries in a timely and professional manner.-Managing Benefits and Expenses and reporting correctly to HMRC via Payrolling Benefits or P11Ds.Candidate Attributes;-Previous experience working within a payroll environment.-Handling confidential Information-Knowledge of computer software applications, including payroll systems-Knowledge of Microsoft software package with a particular strength in Excel and Outlook.Hours- Monday- Friday 9.30am-2.30pmSalary- Up to £29,250 pro-rata + Healthcare Plan
