Part-time Teaching Fellow in Acting and Production at Bath Spa University

Job description

We are currently seeking a Part-time Teaching Fellow in Acting and Production, to undertake teaching, assessment, classroom and administration associated with the delivery of undergraduate modules in the relevant School; (this is a part-time 0.6 role).

About the role

Within the role, you will deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops within an established programme of study. You will support undergraduate students both in-person and online, assess coursework, contribute to syllabus planning, and manage administrative tasks such as attendance monitoring and feedback. A commitment to maintaining subject expertise, reflecting on teaching practices, and ensuring health and safety standards is essential.

About you

You will have professional industry experience and a strong background in actor training. You will have in-depth subject knowledge, the ability to lead practical workshops using basic technical equipment, and a commitment to student-centered learning. Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively and manage your own time effectively. You will be flexible, and a proactive educator with an entrepreneurial mindset.
