I’m currently working with a top-tier construction consultancy client who is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor at Partner level to spearhead growth in their infrastructure sector.
As a Partner in the infrastructure team, you will be a key member of the leadership group responsible for business development, client management, project delivery and team growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking to make their mark in an entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business development and grow the infrastructure client base and revenue
- Take ownership of major infrastructure project pursuits and contract negotiations
- Lead and oversee delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring profitability
- Develop practical quantity surveying and commercial management solutions
- Provide technical expertise and QS/cost management oversight
- Manage client relationships at senior executive levels
- Contribute to wider practice strategy and growth initiatives
- Develop, mentor and lead a high-performing infrastructure team
Required Skills & Experience:
- 15+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with significant infrastructure focus
- Track record leading pursuit, delivery and profit/growth of major infrastructure contracts
- Outstanding technical QS skills and commercial/contractual knowledge
- Experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams on complex projects
- Proven ability to develop client relationships and trusted advisor status
- Entrepreneurial mindset and drive to build new business
- Strong leadership qualities to inspire infrastructure team growth
- Experience ideally from a major QS consultancy
