Job description: We’re looking for a Payment Operations Specialist to join us in our Bradford office. This is hybrid working – 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.As Payment Operations SME, you will ensure accurate and efficient delivery of all payment operations processes and provide support to achieve KPI’s and deliverables.What will you be doing?
- Working with senior stakeholders from LG to ensure fast query resolution.
- Co-ordinate with all teams within payment operations to improve the customer experience
- Empowering the team to review processes and actively promoting suggestions to improve process, procedures and systems
- Leading and resolving all operational issues and escalations
- Continuously review current processes, identify improvements and work with Digital Teams to deliver a solution.
We tend to look for people with:Essential
- Experience working within a fast paced accounts receivable department
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and ensure effective resource utilisation.
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail – Ability to analyse and resolve issues
Desirable
- Experience of working with Finance / Procurement systems like Oracle and APRO
- Accounting qualification or similar
- Self-motivated and works on your own initiative.
- Curiosity about Automation technologies
- Project Management skills
