Each month, you will meticulously help prepare, check, and run the payroll process, ensuring every detail is accurate and compliant. Your expertise will extend to administering our pension scheme and managing auto-enrolment, making sure all employee benefits are flawlessly executed. You’ll handle a variety of tasks, from addressing payroll and benefits queries to maintaining electronic employee files in line with GDPR requirements. Your role will also involve processing new joiners and leavers, managing maternity and paternity payments, and producing insightful reports that aid our HR operations. Additionally, you will communicate effectively about our benefits, manage invoices, and support the wider People Delivery Team in providing top-notch HR services.What We’re Looking For:We need someone who is detail-oriented and efficient, with a knack for handling complex processes. You should be highly organised, able to juggle multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines. Your adaptability, initiative, and ownership will be crucial as you navigate various tasks and challenges.Being a great communicator, you will build strong working relationships within the HR team and with key stakeholders.As a team player, you will contribute effectively to a multi-site business environment and your proficiency in Microsoft Excel and understanding of confidentiality and data sensitivity will set you apart.Responsibilities:In this role, you will ensure the monthly payroll process is prepared, checked, and run with precision, calculating and entering payments, deductions, and adjustments using specialised software.You will administer the pension scheme and handle auto-enrolment monthly, while managing an extensive range of flexible employee benefits. Addressing payroll and benefits queries from employees and managers will be part of your daily routine, as well as maintaining electronic employee files to ensure GDPR compliance.You’ll process statutory and contractual payments for maternity, paternity, and similar situations, handle new joiners and leavers, calculating holidays accordingly, and generate reports from the HR database and other sources.Communicating employee benefits as part of an annual benefits calendar and managing invoices will also be your responsibility.Flexibility to support the People Delivery Team with general administration and HR operations is essential.Skills and Attributes:To succeed in this role, you need to be detail-oriented and efficient, with a strong focus on accuracy.You should be highly organised with excellent planning and administration skills, capable of juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
