Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Payroll Manager to create a new Payroll function including the development and definition of core processes.
- To structure and create a set of end-to-end processes, appropriately levelled, required to run Payroll function
- Ensure that non payroll processes are updated for payroll change impacts.
- To ensure that payroll capabilities and data is available and to a sufficient standard to support smooth running of payroll processes and aligned to agreed policies.
- Assess existing set of services provided by outsource partner and ensure that these services are included within defined processes.
- Support the development of the testing strategy, plans and scripts with well documented processes and appropriate scenarios.
- Support the delivery of shadow running activity to prove that payroll team can satisfactorily process payroll within business-as- usual timescales.
- Support the delivery of training and development of end user guides.
- Work with Programme Manager and PMO to ensure cross dependencies and risks are identified and well managed.
Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience as a business analyst, ideally with Oracle payroll and/or Cloud based technology experience.
- Extensive experience in delivering robust end to end processes that are clearly structured and levelled.
- Excellent research and analytic skills.
- Ability to be proactive and delivery driven.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience writing and managing process documentation.
