Job description: This a fantastic Payroll Manager opportunity to oversee our client’s payroll system and manage the payroll team. This role is integral to supporting the wider business, in the UK and internationally.As the Payroll Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and oversee the payroll team’s operations and performance.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures.
- Handle payroll queries from staff and provide appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and internal policies.
- Handle payroll tax, benefits, and other deductions.
Permanent position, based in West End London |Hybrid workingThe successful Payroll Manager will have:
- Previous experience managing a payroll team and function
- Strong excel skills
- Strong payroll system experience (ADP beneficial)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information/communication
- Ability to build and maintain strong inter-company and stakeholder relationships
My client are a leader in the aerospace and defence consultancy sector, with head offices based in West End, London as well as internationally. They are continuing to grow and therefore need an established Payroll Manager to step in to manage the team.
