Salary Range: £29,605 – £36,024 per annumAs a People Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective delivery and optimization of the client’s Payroll/HR systems. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to understand business requirements, provide technical expertise, and drive continuous improvement in our client’s systems and processes.Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Payroll/HR business process stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions through the One University System.
  • Ensure understanding of Payroll/HR system elements and functionality and establish priorities for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to the Payroll Operational Team on system-related processes and critical issues.
  • Utilize cloud-based system knowledge to support the People Systems Team on Payroll and HR business process requirements.
  • Analyse system configurations to determine root causes of issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Maintain documentation of system-related business processes and provide training to users as needed.
  • Champion the One University system across the People Directorate and provide coaching to staff.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on system analysis, testing, and defect resolution.
  • Evaluate new system releases/functionality and coordinate their application to live environments.
  • Ensure compliance with change request protocols and maintain stakeholder relationships.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with cloud-based Payroll and HR systems, including implementation or troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving ability to troubleshoot payroll-related issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Demonstrable analytical skills with a systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll processing, legislation, and best practices.
  • Technical proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and PowerBI.
  • Ability to assimilate information from various sources and prioritize deliverables effectively.
