Salary: £120 to £180 per day

We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified Learning Area Leader for Performing Art and Physical Education to join our team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an innovative individual with a passion for both Performing Arts and Physical Education. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of high achievement, excellent teaching, and student success within the Learning Area.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspire and Lead Teaching:

  • Inspire and lead the Learning Area Team to deliver high-quality teaching in Performing Art and Physical Education.
  • Foster an environment that encourages creativity and innovation in teaching approaches.

Leadership and Management:

  • Demonstrate outstanding leadership and managerial skills within the Learning Area.
  • Develop a strong ethos of high achievement and success, setting clear expectations for both staff and students.

Student Progress and Attainment:

  • Effectively track, monitor, and support student progress within the Learning Area.
  • Be accountable for raising standards and ensuring excellent progress across all subjects within Performing Art and Physical Education.

Proven Track Record:

  • Showcase a proven track record of securing successful pupil outcomes in both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Use experience to contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning practices.

Requirements:

Qualifications: Hold relevant qualifications and certifications in education, with a focus on Performing Art and Physical Education. * QUALIFIED TEACHING STATUS or PGCE IS ESSENTIAL

Experience: Previous experience in a similar leadership role is necessary, with a track record of delivering successful outcomes.
