Job description: Roadhogs Recruitment is recruiting a Pig Stockperson for a farm in North Yorkshire (YO51).

The producer has a 280-sow breeding-to-finishing indoor pig unit.

The family business has been in pigs for over 30 years and has invested in good modern buildings for the future and farms arable.

They are looking for a stockperson who can assist in all areas, manage themselves and carry on a successful pig production.

Candidates ideally will have:

• All-round pig husbandry skills
• Telehandler experience
• A strong work ethic with great attention to detail
• High welfare standards

Salary: £25,000 – £29,000 DOE +

Our farmer is looking for someone local who can commute to YO51.
