Job description: Planning Analytics AnalystSalary £50,000 – £60,000Manchester 2 days a week, WFH 3 daysMy client is looking for a Planning Analytics Analyst to play a vital role in optimising their financial planning and analytics processes. Working closely with the Finance Planning Analytics Accountant, you’ll be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations of existing Planning Analytics (PA) instances. Your primary focus will be on identifying and implementing process improvements across PA models to align with their business strategy.Your efforts will ensure compliance with controls, documentation of processes, and encourage continuous improvement initiatives throughout the Finance department.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the day-to-day operations of existing Planning Analytics (PA) instances.Deploy PA solutions in alignment with industry best practices.Create and develop requested reports using Perspective/PAX/PAW.Offer user support and collaborate with the IT department to resolve issues.Identify opportunities for process enhancements and gather requirements for future reporting.Manage PA version upgrades, patching, and compliance activities.Collaborate with third-party suppliers during project execution and ensure changes undergo controlled testing and promotion.Optimise performance of PA models and conduct user training sessions.Produce and coordinate technical documentation and provide support for other non-PA Finance Systems as required.Preferable:Qualified or part-qualified accountantExperience with financial consolidation processes or Cognos ControllerFamiliarity with PA, PAW, and/or Controller upgradesKnowledge of TM1py/REST APIIf this role is of interest to you, please email your CV to chris@systemsaccountants.com
