Location: Hertford

Contract Type: Locum ongoing contract

Pay Rate: £20 – £25 per hour

Shift/Working Pattern: Full-time

Duties of the Podiatrist

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis and implementation of individual treatment plans for patients
  • Provide specialist podiatry input to all patients that fall within their specialist field of expertise
  • Actively promoting self-management on all activities of daily living
  • To maintain the integrity of the foot, with the aim of preventing long term complications. To be responsible for providing a high standard of patient focused quality care by assessing, diagnosing and developing specialised and complex care programmes for patients with diabetes, other high risk health conditions, patients requiring nail surgery and MSK podiatry for those patients within the service criteria.
  • To provide high quality Podiatry care for patients in community clinics and outpatient multi-disciplinary clinics
  • Delivering treatment plans in conjunction with patients

Requirements of the Podiatrist

  • Qualified podiatrist i.e. Degree or equivalent within Podiatry
  • Recent experience within podiatry
  • Registered with the HCPC as a podiatrist to work in the UK
  • NHS experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence and access to oen vehicle
