Job description: An outstanding opportunity has arisen at one of the UK’s most prestigious real estate investment, development and asset management businesses for a Portfolio Administrator.

This is business is a well established brand within the British property and real estate sector, who have successfully formulated and deployed a highly acquisitive strategy that has enabled them to purchase and curate a high performing property portfolio.

The Portfolio Administrator is a key figure within the finance team, who plays a pivotal role compiling and reporting on all Property related revenue for prime real estate assets in conjunction with acting as the main liaison between site and corporate finance teams.

Key responsibilities for this post include;

  • Register new residents / tenants and set up associated ledgers on to the finance system coupled with the review of lease details and move in monies
  • Manage and allocate deposit receipts
  • Post revenue receipts for individual sites on to the finance system
  • Input any tenancy renewals and adjustments on to the finance system
  • Process end of tenancy information and raise refund requests to accounts payable
  • Liaise with site teams to ensure that financial information is received and recorded for month end reporting
  • Provide assistance with special projects and the implementation of Process and service improvements
  • Provide site teams with training and ensure that they are fully conversant with Accounts Receivable processing

Successful candidates will have acquired practical experience as an accounts assistant in Accounts Receivable or a graduate with a degree in Accounting & Finance who is keen to build a career in the property and real estate sector.

Alternatively, applications from candidates who have acquired experience in a property or lease administrative role are also welcome and would be considered alongside those from a finance background.

In addition, you will have good verbal and written communication skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to communicate with a variety of different stakeholders within the business.
