Job title: Portfolio Management Office (PMO) Support Officer

Job description: Are you an experienced project administrator? A great communicator?

You can help West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service (WYFRS) by championing and supporting the embedding of Portfolio Management Office (PMO) services across the portfolio of projects. This will involve developing and maintaining strong working relationships with WYFRS project teams.

Job Purpose: To support WYFRS PMO and act as a source of guidance to WYFRS Project Teams.

Key Responsibilities: You will assist project teams with advice and guidance on the use of WYFRS Project Portfolio Management (PPM) framework. In addition, you will ensure monitoring of project/programmes and take necessary actions to alert key stakeholders.

Essential requirements: You will have knowledge/experience of project management and understanding of project management terminology, with administration experience and a background of working with data.

We offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working. Whilst you will be required to work from our offices for parts of your initial training, after this you’ll work both in the office and from home as part of our ‘hybrid’ working model.
