The Manchester Institute of Educaiton has an exciting opportunity for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate to join our research team. We are seeking to appoint a post-doctoral research associate on a full-time appointment for 12 months to join the project called ‘Building Solidarity through Collective Community Action: an interdisciplinary approach to lived experiences of inequality’ funded by the Humanities Research Investment Fund. This is an 18 month long priming project (started 1st Feb 2024) to help us understand, theorise, and conceptualise barriers to building solidarity amongst, within and with marginalised local communities in the Greater Manchester area. We are specifically interested in lived experiences of education, health and environmental inequalities from an interdisciplinary perspective.
