Job Description
Full-time: 35 hours per week
Fixed-term: 12 months
The opportunity:
We are looking for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in Biodiversity and Land Use Modelling to work on advancing global biodiversity and land-use modelling, covering scenarios based on the IPBES Nature Futures Framework.
This post is fixed term (12 months) and full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Experienced in using and developing models of biodiversity and land use
- Proficiency using large spatial datasets
- Expertise with global land use modelling results, ideally including developing in R
- Good communication skills, orally and in writing, for academic audiences
