Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive Physical Education lessons in alignment with the school’s curriculum standards, preparing students for assessments and future athletic challenges.
• Implement differentiated teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, allowing each student to excel.
• Emphasise the real-world applications of physical education knowledge, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills in students.
• Conduct regular assessments of student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their athletic growth. Collaborate with colleagues to analyse assessment data and refine teaching practices.
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment, instilling a passion for physical education and promoting respectful behaviour among students.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Teaching certification in Physical Education.
• PGCE/QTS/QTLS.
• Proven experience in teaching Physical Education at the secondary level.
• Familiarity with and commitment to the principles of the school’s curriculum.
• Ability to teach Key Stage 3, with Key Stage 4 as an additional qualification.
