Job description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Cyber Security Consultant, this is a UK wide role and is open to candidates within Scotland, North England, Wales and London. Our client are a top global consultancy across multiple sectors from Infrastructure to Defence and Rail.
Role:
The successful candidate will be focused on understanding customers’ business and providing cyber security expertise covering strategic and advisory solution design.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Apply knowledge in a range of broad contexts covering people, process and technology relating to the cyber risk management of OT/ICS
- Perform cyber security risk assessments and determine in the most cost-effective deployment of security controls and solutions
- Create client policies and procedures to meet corporate and regulatory requirements and standards
- Select appropriate technology to meet clients’ security requirements and help deploy that technology
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in delivering cyber security consultancy in OT/ICS environments within relevant sectors such as civil nuclear, energy, transport and water
- Strong working understanding of the way that OT/ICS systems are procured, designed, deployed and operated
- Familiar with one or more OT cyber security standards or regulatory frameworks such as IEC 62443/ISA, NIST CSF, NCSC CAF etc
Desirable:
- Ability to work effectively both individually and within a team in a multi-discipline environment
- Ablity to work on multiple projects and tasks concurrently
