Whether it’s a Friday-night feast, a post-gym poke bowl, or grabbing some groceries, our tech platform connects tens of millions of customers with hundreds of thousands of restaurant, grocery and convenience partners across the globe.About this role:As IT Procurement Lead, you will work within a broader IT Procurement team, reporting to the “Senior Manager, IT”, defining and executing your own sourcing strategies, for nominated vendors and sub categories that suit your strengths and interests. We are a global function, we care for all JET markets in the world (mainly Europe, Canada, Australia and US), and cover all aspects of IT: Software Hardware, Telecoms and IT Professional services.The core of our activity is sourcing: from helping the requirements to signature of contract, through sourcing suppliers, running RFi/RFP, assessing and negotiating contracts.We are developing more and more category management strategies for some categories, and SRM with key suppliers.In this role, you will also have the opportunity to:

  • Run Category Management and Sourcing as per our 7-step strategic procurement framework, for a selection of IT spend categories such as telco, end user computing and office AV, restaurant POS devices and other SaaS that could include specialist areas like cyber security or Workforce management.

  • Be accountable for personal delivery of projects that satisfy stakeholders and help deliver successful procurement performance against our 5 profit-related KPIs of savings, risk, service, quality and sustainability.​

  • Put data at the heart of our decision-making, using our system suite tools for Sourcing, Contract Lifecycle Management, Procure to Pay, Project Management, Supplier Performance, Risk, Sustainability, Spend & Savings Analytics.​

  • Collaborate with many business units and functions to Identify risks and opportunities then set appropriate plans to mitigate and capitalise on them.

What will you bring to the table…

  • Good knowledge of and interest in business technology, be that hardware or software, with a thirst for more.
  • Capability to prioritise and manage high workload, sometimes we need to provide lighter touch due to capacity.
  • Broad understanding of business processes and objectives for great stakeholder empathy and goal-alignment and complex problem solving across broad business areas.
  • Influencing and negotiation skills, excited by numerous strategies, tactics and tools, varied and flexed in use for different situations and aims, involving listening and openness to diverse opinions.
  • Financial skills for commercial assessments, cost comparisons, savings analysis, cost / benefit calculations and returns on investment ratios.
  • A flare for building new and maintaining strong relationships internally and externally, at all levels of the organisation.
  • Comfort in communication – verbal, written and aural, adaptable to a variety of audiences (up to and including functional leaders) and situations, using quantitative, qualitative and graphics appropriately.
  • Capability to interact effectively with multiple stakeholders such as Global Tech partnership team, Finance, legal, DPO, Infosec…etc
