The School of Strings is looking to appoint an inspiring and informed musician who has an established reputation in guiding young string players towards realising their musical aspirations and potential.
We are seeking to appoint a new Professor of Cello and are looking for a professional cellist with a strong and widely held reputation as a performer and teacher. Essential is a proven track record of having taught highly skilled cellists as they prepare to find their niche within the breadth of the music profession. The ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge of cello schooling and have had experience of delivering detailed technical foundation work in their approach. They will have the profile, contact-base and influence to bring students to the RNCM.
