With the team growing, this Project Civil Engineer position will provide you the opportunity to work in various sectors as part of an enthusiastic and committed team of engineers and technicians.
Working on a variety of medium size projects, you will design and specify all aspects of civil works, contribute to the mentoring of junior engineers, technicians and early careers population and on occasion, manage the civils involvement in small to medium-size projects, including time, cost, quality and client relationship management and delivery.
You will be responsible for producing design deliverables (including drawings, specifications, and reports), site surveys, construction stage duties, client liaison with members of design/construction teams, project management, costing and ensure progress against the project brief.
You will also contribute to the preparation of enquiry plans, tender reviews, fee estimate sheets, scopes of work and change controls as required.
About You
- Chartered CEng MICE or working towards chartership,
- You will have strong technical capability in surface and foul drainage designs and strategies (ideally with Micro-drainage experience), ground modelling and pavement setting out and design, and experience of coordinating below ground drainage services,
- You will have experience working in a multi-disciplinary team where you are able to take initiative and work independently,
- Need to have good working knowledge of industry best practice for civil engineering designs.
