Our success is based on the talented and experienced people that make up our workforce.About the RoleWe are seeking a Project Engineer (Boeing Aircraft) to join our friendly Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) team. The CAMO Team is based at Doncaster Airport with some team members based at Lasham Airfield. Travel to other 2Excel and/or supplier sites may be required.2Excel operates a variety of Boeing aircraft types in different roles, including, Boeing 737CL, 737NG, 727, and 757 aircraft.This extremely varied and rewarding role will involve working as part of a small project team, primarily managing aircraft modification and upgrade programmes, as well as the introduction of aircraft to service into the organisation. This role, could be based at Doncaster or Lasham and offers a hybrid mixture of working at home, in the office and off-site in support projects as required.Reporting to the CAMO Project Manager, the CAMO Project Engineer’s key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the various survey and service introduction requirements for any aircraft acquisitions into the fleet.
  • Supporting the export/import requirements aircraft acquisitions including the work scope planning for bridging maintenance inputs.
  • Support to aircraft surveys including the composition of aircraft survey reports.
  • Technical support for aircraft modification programmes including the liaison with both Design and Maintenance Organisations
  • Support to the Management of Change process.
  • Development of existing and introduction of new software/systems to support CAMO processes.
  • Oversight of maintenance requirements throughout modification programmes.
  • Management and control of modification documentation, data and drawings for both prototype and approved data.
  • Review, assess and process incoming airworthiness data (mandatory and non-mandatory), such as AD, SB and ICA etc in line with airworthiness procedures.
  • Review and update procedures and controlled forms as required to support new or revised aircraft requirements.

About YouYou will have demonstrable experience working in a CAMO, Airworthiness or Technical Support related role with a strong understanding and knowledge of Part M/Part CAMO, Part 145 and Part 21 regulations.You’ll have strong IT skills and have the ability to work efficiently on your own as well as part of a team. You will be a strong communicator at all levelsYou might have have experience of working with narrowbody commercial airliners and/or Boeing Aircraft but this isn’t essential. We’d also love to hear from candidates who have experience and involvement with aircraft modifcation and upgrade programmes or that have worked in a project role previously.In addition, due to the occasional travel requirements of this role and the locations of our sites, a driving licence is required.Applicants must also be able to demonstrate the Right to Work in the UK and be able to successfully pass a company sponsored Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) and/or Security Check (SC) Clearance.What We OfferWe can offer you a competitive salary dependant on previous experience, generous holiday allowance, private health care and a company pension.
