Job description: Are you a Project Manager looking for a new challenge?
The senior project manager fulfils a critical management role, having a high level of direct accountability and responsibility. They will contribute directly and positively to the business performance of the ADS in delivery of the programme by:
- Taking personal accountability for the performance of a portfolio of projects, comprised of low, moderate and high complexity projects
- Understanding and translating business strategy and business objectives into actions and outcomes that optimise profitability and supports growth
What you’ll be doing:
- Oversee overall project costs and manage all project elements
- Deliver technical equipment/systems to client sites, ensuring SSL enablers, administration, and maintenance are in place. Hand over to the operational delivery structure
- Coordinate with multi-stakeholder counterparts to align SSL plan with the client’s master plan. Inform, involve, and gain support from all stakeholders
- Create, implement, or follow processes for service delivery adhering to approved quality levels (H&S, ECR, Security, ISO…)
- Manage projects to client and SSL requirements, meeting timescales, budget, acceptance criteria, quality criteria, tolerance, contractual commitments, and agreed service levels post-cutover
- Plan and coordinate SSL delivery teams, monitoring and controlling progress against the agreed baseline plan for pre-event, event, and post-event activities
What you’ll bring:
- Industry qualifications (Prince 2, Agile) and real-life experience of project management
- Experience of working with MoD and their suppliers (people, processes and estate)
- Experience of working with technical professionals and delivering complex technical systems
- Skilled in delivering against the ECR process

Salary: £45,000 to £60,000
