Job description: Our client provide innovative tech and software solutions for the aviation industry – they are seeking a Project Manager to join their small, dynamic and highly motivated team.
This role is remote but requires travel to the London office (near Euston) once or twice a month.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects, ranging from the development of new software systems to updates of existing services.
You will also provide Business Analyst support, advising on how business processes could be improved. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in managing ISO standards accreditation and ensuring all projects adhere to industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects according to defined objectives and goals.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting quality standards.
- Facilitate effective communication within cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Identify potential risks and issues and proactively develop and implement mitigation strategies. • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Define and implement a common, company wide approach to project management ensuring alignment with company goals and strategy.
Business Analysis
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and refine project requirements.
- Analyse and document business processes, workflows, and system dependencies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
- Define and document clear business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications.
ISO Standards Accreditation
- Lead the effort to maintain and improve adherence to ISO 9001 and 27001 standards relevant to the industry.
- Manage policies, procedures, and documentation to meet ISO accreditation requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards and drive continuous improvement.
- Act as the main point of contact for external accreditation bodies during audits and assessments.
Experience and Skills
- Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully managing multiple projects from initiation to completion.
- Minimum A-levels (or equivalent) or above but Bachelors degree preferred
- Strong business analysis skills, including the ability to gather, document, and manage requirements effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work
