Job description: Where does this role fit in?

You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring the smooth operation of financial systems linked to our properties, insurance portfolio, and service charge transactions. You will be maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, all while delivering crucial administrative support to our team. Dive into the world of component accounting, collaborating closely with the Property Accountant to keep property and grant registers in top shape, guarantee data accuracy in property systems, and handle accounting tasks for housing, land, and buildings.

The Development System is another exciting aspect of this role, involving tasks like recording cost and grant transactions, reconciling financial ledgers, and ensuring timely payments to contractors. What skills and experience do you need?

Experience: Fixed Asset Accounting and relationship-building experience are highly desirable. Dealing with internal and external customers is a plus.

Skills: We need someone with a methodical approach to handling data, excellent data processing skills, and the confidence to question received data.

Knowledge: A good understanding of IT systems and the ability to adapt to new systems quickly and accurately are essential.

What are the pay and benefits?

  • This is a fixed term position until 29th October 2025, 37 hours per week and the salary is £23,305
  • Working days are predominately Monday to Friday days, The majority of our Finance team work from home and attend our Swansea office for team meetings, once to twice a month. You will have the option to work remote or in our Newport or Swansea office if you would prefer
