Job description: A Quality and Food Safety Supervisor is required for a market leader in food ingredients
The role will be based in the the QA team at the site in Banbury, on a 12 month FTC.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to develop their quality and food safety skills. This role would suit someone ambitious and ready to take the next step in their career.
This role is responsible for supporting the site Quality and Food Safety Manager in managing the quality assurance department, ensuring that quality and food standards meet or exceed corporate, customer and BRCGS requirements.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the quality assurance team whose tasks include raw material inspection and testing, finished product testing and ensuring compliance with operational standards.
You will also support with the investigation and management of internal non-compliances, customer complaints and customer, corporate and third-party audits such as BRCGS.
Working hours / pattern – Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm with some flexibility to meet the needs of the business
