Job description: Recra is working in partnership with a leading manufacturing company in Leicester, which is looking to recruit a Quality Manager to join their wonderful company.Main duties include:
- Responsible for the Quality Policy & ongoing Quality Strategy for the Automotive Division.
- To liaise with internal & external customers and sub-suppliers in order to enhance relationships for continuous improvement and resolve quality issues in a timely manner
- Provide timely and accurate reports and presentations to external and internal customers
- To liaise with the internal team to ensure that corrective actions are implemented effectively
- To work alongside the Quality Systems Manager in order to maintain the relevant accreditation
- To lead and carry out problem-solving exercises to the conclusion
- To continually review and improve internal systems & procedures to ensure the “right-first-time” philosophy is adopted
- Complete internal and external Audits
- To establish & maintain appropriate KPIs for Quality
- To travel abroad to customer sites as and when required
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Ideally 5 – 10 years of experience in an Automotive Environment
- Working experience of implementing & maintaining a Quality Management System – ISO9000 / TS16949 / ISO 14001
- Previous experience as a direct customer liaison
- Extensive experience and knowledge of problem-solving tools and techniques
- Excellent communication (written and spoken) skills
- Excellent writing, training, and presentation skills
- Excellent PC skills with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Hours of Work:

Expected salary: £45000 – 60000 per year
