About the Job
As a Quality Manager you will play a key role in the quality, compliance and improvement agenda across all aspects of Logistics Quality. You will be a subject matter expert in the field of aviation logistics regulatory compliance and management systems. Reporting to the Head of Quality, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a resilient and compliant Quality and Regulatory Management System in line with contractual obligations required by the client, enhancing the culture of quality across the business.
As part of your key responsibilities you will:
- Develop and deliver training programs and Toolbox Talks across the business to raise awareness and capabilities in areas such as Corrective Action, Problem Solving Quality tools, Right First Time, FOD
- Lead, coach, and develop the Quality Team and site champions where applicable, in all aspects of Quality and Compliance
- Develop capabilities in collating and presenting quality data for the management review process
- Use digital tools and techniques to make access to quality information user-friendly and relatable
- Engage and support all departments to improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management System
- Monitor and maintain accurate status of colleague competencies and supporting documentation through skills matrix
- Manages Quality Team colleagues to empower them, coach them and continually grow the team capabilities
About You

- Extensive experience of working in quality and compliance within the aviation industry
- Practical experience of handling, storage and distribution of aviation products/services
- Strong understanding and experience of implementing and maintaining quality management systems
- Experience in successfully dealing with external regulatory bodies
- Experience in hosting external audits and regulatory inspections
- Good working knowledge of effective quality documentation systems
- Good working knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Qualified auditor in ISO 9001:2015
- Excellent team player with the ability to deliver clear communications and foster excellent working relationships with peers and senior management teams
- Professional written and verbal communication skills with strong computer literacy skills with Google Applications
- Extensive experience of customer collaboration
