Job description: We are inviting applications from an enthusiastic Individual to work within all imaging modalities in Radiology department, assisting Radiographers, Nurses and Radiologists in the care of patients undergoing radiological procedures and provide support to all health care professionals within the multi-disciplinary team.Applicants must have excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team. This post will include shifts between the hours of 8am – 8pm over 7 days a week, including weekends and bank holidaysMain duties of the jobTo assist in the care of patients undergoing radiological procedures; across multiple modalities. Undertaking clinical procedures under supervision; contributing to patient care and safety whilst in the department.A key element of the role is to provide administrative assistance to ensure effective work flow within the service.You will be required to work collaborative with other clinical colleagues in all areas with in Radiology to support inter department staffing demand.About usWe are one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with three acute hospitals and community sites serving a local population of around 700,000.We also provide specialist services for Kent and Medway.We care about our patients and our people.
