Job description: Cobalt are looking for dynamic individuals with experience of working within a busy operation planning and allocating work on a live basis. This role focuses on the allocation of teams responsible for the turnaround of aircraft operating from Heathrow. Operating alongside duty management team and in constant contact with the customer airlines, Air Traffic Control, Stand Planning, and internal departments. You will be used to juggling a number of different aspects of your role and operation at the same time.Your key responsibilities:

  • Allocate Ramp activity on shift, to ensure Cobalt meets and exceeds the required standards of customer satisfaction, quality standards and health & safety standards as per agreed SLA’s with customer airlines and any other relevant third parties.
  • Accountable to the Duty Manager for the resource planning within the department.
  • Responsible for the daily co-ordination and supervision of all resources within Ramp & Baggage Services in order to meet all operational and service commitments (i.e. service standards as specified in the SLA or defined in practice, on time performance and delay recovery) in the most cost effective manner.
  • Supervise effective service execution on shift in concert with the DM and other team members when required.
  • Ensure that communication is up to date, prompt and effective via all required systems and channels and works together with the DM to ensure an overall smooth Cobalt operation on the day.
  • Liaise on a regular basis with Customer airlines, ensuring that we are providing best in class customer service delivery.
  • Handle airline complaints/claims in an efficient, timely and customer focused way in coordination with or support of the customer airline’s policy.
  • Any other reasonable management request in line with the skillset and grade of the role.
