Shift Pattern: Rotational, 5 on 3 off, earliest 05:00 start latest 15:00

PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an Airport. You will be required to under-go Security Vetting Processes ( including a criminal record check and counter terrorism check ) if you are to be successful for this position.

DHL work in partnership with easyJet at Bristol Airport to provide all ground handling within their Bristol operation. No two days on our Aviation contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the ground handling operation, working to tight timeframes but delivering fantastic results.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

  • To consistently deliver the highest customer service at all times
  • Actively lead, motivate and support, providing guidance and encouragement to your colleagues
  • To demonstrate full understanding of the AAA process
  • To ensure the safe and correct allocation of all equipment and personnel on the ramp
  • Operating specialist equipment
  • Ensure compliance in both airline and airport policies
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • Experience with Headset
  • Well organised and able to work on your own initiative and to tight deadlines
  • Must be available for a 5 day training course
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Have a calm, friendly and professional manor
  • Excellent organisation skills and methodology
  • Ability to quickly and accurately react and assess any given situation and instigate corrective action
  • Thorough knowledge and experience of ramp ground handling operations, our customer, safety practices and legislation
  • The ability to coach, develop and lead a team
  • Work well within a team

SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL

  • Be able to provide 5 years address history
  • Be able to provide 5 years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
  • To obtain a full airside ID
