JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Ray-Ban Brand Marketing Intern supports the North Europe strategy for the world’s leading eyewear brand across multiple categories including Sun, Optical, Kids, Consumer Electronics, and prescription lenses. The role requires someone with a can-do attitude who has an interest in both business and marketing. This opportunity gives visibility access multiple functions across the organization to create a strong foundation for a successful career in business and marketing.
Success is completing the required tasks on time while supporting the Ray-Ban Business Brand Manager in generating new ideas to drive further growth in the markets.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:
- Producing analytical brand reports, including activity evaluation, distribution and product analysis;
- assisting the production behind brand events: including trade conferences, promotional events;
- proof reading and curating brand communications and material adhering to the brand guidelines;
- managing content uploads and creation of the ‘brand news’ for the salesforce;
- support with the amendments of the new collection presentations to internal and external stakeholders to support new releases;
- collect product feedback after every new release co-ordinated with salesforce;
- assisting with bestseller reports and updating the Ideal Assortment with every new release;
- managing and processing New Door Application forms and owning the Store Locator database
- assisting with ad-hoc administration duties for the marketing department as required as and when required;
- supporting with PR inquiries and evaluating the brand’s local influencer roster
NETWORK OF INTERACTION:
INTERNAL :
- Trade Marketing – Support brand strategy and campaign execution.
- PR – Support the local Entertainment Marketing and influencer strategy.
- Training – Support on brand engagement within the Leonardo training platform.
- Digital – Maintain a full communication plan for brand highlights with B2B partners.
- Customer Interaction Centre – Updating on the latest news and to gather feedback from clients.
- Commercial – Support in product recommendation materials for campaigns.
EXTERNAL:
- Agencies – Supporting in brand specific projects.
TECHNICAL SKILLS – PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
- Excellent computer literacy. Confident handling of Microsoft office (i.e. Excel and Powerpoint).

- Qualification to degree-level ideally within Business/Economics with focus on Marketing.
- Organization, autonomy & dynamism to drive projects forward with flawless attention to detail.
- An interest in developing analytical and conceptual skills.
- Excellent communication and presenting skills, capable of adapting to different audiences.
- Creative, Imaginative, and constantly curious, able to propose new ideas.
- High affinity to lifestyle brands and enthusiasm for the Ray-Ban brand, interest in music and entertainment.
- Being an active team member – creating internal and external business partnerships and actively supporting others.
LANGUAGES:
- Fluent written and spoken English
INTERVIEW STEPS:
- Initial Interview with Ray-Ban Business Brand Manager (Ray-Ban BBM)
- Further interview and presentation to Senior Ray-Ban BBM and Marketing Director
OVERALL COMMENTS:
- The normal working hours will be 9.00am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. However, some out of hours and weekend work may be required on occasion.
