As an R&D manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various research projects, applying for funding, managing other scientists, and ensuring the successful execution of our research initiatives. You will also contribute to the scientific literature by writing and publishing research papers in reputable journals. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge topics! You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment of R&D efforts with business strategies.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong academic background and a minimum of 3 years of experience in research and development, preferably in the areas of photocatalysis, chemistry, formulating, crop monitoring, and measuring. You will also need to have excellent scientific writing skills, proven leadership abilities, and exceptional communication skills. A PhD degree in a relevant scientific discipline is highly desired.

‘R&D Manager’ Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and do research on things like light, plants, chemicals, and products.
• Test our products or technologies in the field and see how they work.
• Write reports and papers about our research and share them with others.
• Get money from grants or other sources to do more research.
• Work with other teams like marketing, product development, and operations to make sure we are doing the right things.
• Lead and help other researchers and scientists in our team.
• Learn new things and find new ways to do research.

‘R&D Manager’ Key Skills:

• A degree in a subject related to our research, like light, chemistry, plants, or products. A PhD degree is very good.
• Experience in doing research and testing products or technologies in the field.
• Good writing skills and papers published in good journals.
• Experience in leading and managing research projects and people.
• Ability to get money from grants or other sources to do research.
• Good communication skills and ability to explain complex things to different people.
• Extensive experience using the lab tools and equipment needed for our clients research.
• Strong organization and time management skills and ability to do many things at the same time.
• Good leadership skills and ability to make our team work well together.
• Good problem-solving and thinking skills and ability to find new and better ways to do things.
