Role Purpose
As a Recruitment & Engagement Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the group, people team with recruitment and leadership development initiatives. This dynamic internship position offers hands-on experience in the realms of recruitment and leadership development, providing you with exposure to the entire employee lifecycle. Collaborating closely with our HR and leadership teams, you will assist in identifying and attracting high-calibre candidates, engaging in various recruitment processes, and contributing to the implementation of innovative strategies to enhance our talent pipeline. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to support with the coordination and implementation of global engagement initiatives.
This role will be based in our head office in Bloomsbury Square, London and will be a fixed term contract for 6-months.

We want you to get the best from your internship and to have tangible examples of the impact you had during your time with us. Below are some key projects that you will assist in delivering:
- Candidate Attraction & Engagement – You will support the Central Recruitment Manager and Development Engagement Specialist with identifying new and innovative routes to the recruitment market whilst managing, administering, and developing our current channels. This will also include creating global talent pool creation for our key disciplines, creation of alumni channels for trained seasonal workers and connecting our recruitment practices to channels which are aligned to our corporate ESG goals whilst also creating an engagement plan/engagement content for these channels.
- Engagement Library – You will support the Development & Engagement Manager in creating an engagement toolbox to provide leaders with off the shelf solutions for holidays and engagement events. This toolbox will empower managers to drive employee engagement around various tentpole events throughout the year
What you will be doing
- Utilising various sourcing methods to identify and attract potential candidates, including job boards, social media, networking events, and other channels.
- Build a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
- Management of recruitment social media channels such as META business suite, Glassdoor and LinkedIn.
- Conduct initial screenings to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of leadership development and engagement programs and initiatives.
