Job Description

Applications are invited for an experienced professional to join the University as our Recruitment Manager.

Having embarked on an HR enhancement program of change, coupled with a recently refreshed five-year People Strategy (2023-2027), this is an exciting time to become part of the HR team. We are currently reviewing our systems and practices and you will have the opportunity to influence and shape our recruitment strategy and service. You will be responsible for developing the service to ensure that the best candidates are recruited, using the most appropriate recruitment methods and practices, responding to market pressures and trends, and promoting our benefits to attract suitably skilled applicants from a wide range of backgrounds. As the Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for developing our recruitment strategy and the recruitment service to meet both internal and external demands.

If you are an experienced Recruitment Manager, having operated at a management level, are up to date on market leading recruitment practices, have experience of providing specialist recruitment advice, using management information to deliver results, with excellent communication and people skills and a commitment to continuous improvement, this may be the role for you.

Employees of the University have access to a wide range of staff benefits including:
